Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool
Location: Centennial, Colorado
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
- Titrate life-saving medications including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics with precision
- Manage ventilators and assist with respiratory needs alongside RT colleagues
- Interpret telemetry and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
- Float throughout the 60-mile zone to support facilities in need while delivering consistent, high-quality care
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Colorado or compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
- Comfortable with drip titration and ventilator management
- Epic experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers

- Flexibility to float across ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Tele units
- Strong communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
