Shift Type: Varied shifts, 8 hours, with weekend call required

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care during EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and other GI procedures
- Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable
- Monitor patients closely and respond swiftly to any changes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including hospitalists and respiratory therapists
- Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR
- Float to PACU or ACU as needed to support the broader unit
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- At least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
- Moderate sedation experience preferred
- Cerner charting experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Endoscopy and GI procedures expertise
- Moderate sedation administration
- Cerner-Surginet documentation
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to handle 3-5 cases daily plus emergencies
