Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert one-on-one care to complex cardiac surgery patients
- Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, paralytics, and antiarrhythmics
- Monitor and interpret telemetry to catch changes before they become emergencies
- Support patients on advanced therapies such as Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO
- Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists who are in-house 24/7
- Float to other inpatient units when needed, expanding your skill set
Qualifications
- Active RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications
- At least 1 year of recent CVICU experience with this patient population
- Comfortable titrating drips and interpreting telemetry independently
- Valid driver's license at time of submittal
- Willingness to float to other inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU

- Open-heart recovery and complex thoracic/vascular cases
- Advanced hemodynamic support devices
- Telemetry interpretation without monitor tech assistance
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
