Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with professionalism and attention to detail
Position patients and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
Operate radiographic equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Accurately label and document imaging exams in the patient record
Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and clinical staff to deliver excellent care
Participate in orientation and training to stay current with department practices

Qualifications

Valid state license for radiologic technologists (MO licensure required if applicable)
ARRT certification or equivalent credential preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Prior radiology or imaging experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome
Demonstrated patient care skills and professional communication

Education

Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
Familiarity with digital imaging systems and PACS
Strong attention to detail and image quality standards
Ability to follow infection control and radiation safety procedures
Solid interpersonal skills for working with patients of all ages
