Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with compassion and attention to patient comfort
• Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately, following facility protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining steps, answering questions, and ensuring proper positioning
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for exams and imaging results
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure timely, coordinated patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff
• Assist with equipment maintenance and quality control procedures to ensure reliable imaging

Qualifications

• Valid state Radiologic Technologist license where required
• ARRT certification in radiography preferred or equivalent credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations and a patient-first mindset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
• Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; accredited program preferred
• ARRT certification recommended

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic radiography positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Good patient care and assessment skills with attention to detail
• Ability to follow protocols, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
