Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Lamar, Colorado
Start Date: 06-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement selected components of patient interventions under the direction of a physical therapist
- Obtain data related to interventions and make modifications to progress patients safely
- Assist individuals of all ages who have medical problems limiting their movement and daily activities
- Provide care across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current credentialing by Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, State Physical Therapy Board
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of two years experience with inpatient experience required
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and team members
- Ability to adjust to varied situations and multiple projects
- Competency in operating therapy equipment and performing technical procedures
- Professional presentation and supervision skills
