Roles & Responsibilities

Assist orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
Take and develop dental X-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
Maintain accurate patient records and charting

Qualifications

Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland
Previous experience in orthodontics preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Chairside assisting techniques
Infection control and sterilization protocols
Dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
Digital X-ray and imaging systems
