Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist orthodontist with examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control standards
Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions as directed
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning
Help manage patient flow and support the office team in delivering exceptional care

Qualifications

Active Dental Assistant certification in Maryland (or ability to obtain)
Radiology certification required
Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
CPR certification is a plus
A warm, friendly demeanor and a passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with dental software and digital X-ray systems
Team player with a commitment to quality and safety
