Shift Type: Variable 4-hour shifts (schedule and exact start/end times to be scheduled) — orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain independence
Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on techniques, adaptive equipment and home programs
Participate in orientation and training activities to maintain high-quality care standards

Qualifications

Current or eligible California Occupational Therapist license
Active OTR or relevant professional credential
BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to complete required onboarding and background checks

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy (required; relevant graduate degree preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in functional assessment and activity analysis
Knowledge of adaptive equipment and home modification strategies
Comfortable with patient education and caregiver training
Proficient documentation and charting practices
Strong clinical reasoning and goal-driven treatment planning
