Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' functional abilities and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
• Document progress clearly and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on home strategies and adaptive equipment
• Participate in orientation and training to learn facility processes and standards
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered outpatient environment

Qualifications

• Active California license as an Occupational Therapist (required)
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MS/OTD preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Clinical experience in outpatient or pediatric/adaptive settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to pass facility background checks and onboarding requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MS/OTD) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in standardized and functional assessments
• Experience developing goal-directed treatment plans
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment and home modification strategies
• Comfortable with documentation in an electronic health record
• Good clinical reasoning and patient education abilities
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
