Location: Santa Maria, California
Start Date: 05-27-2026
End Date: 08-26-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with every 3rd weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized occupational therapy services in patients' homes across assigned geographic regions
- Assess and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, strokes, joint replacements, and spinal injuries
- Complete OASIS documentation to meet government-mandated requirements
- Collaborate with PT, OT, and Speech colleagues to provide comprehensive home-based care
- Support patients in regaining independence and improving their quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of experience working as an OT
- Experience with OASIS documentation required
- Home health setting experience preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with OASIS documentation
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work independently in home care settings
