Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with patient check-in and intake, making every patient feel welcome
Measure and document vital signs accurately and promptly
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Support providers during exams and procedures with calm, efficient assistance
Document patient information in electronic medical records with attention to detail
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Communicate clearly with patients and team members to keep care coordinated

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training preferred
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus; new grads welcome to apply
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and performing routine clinical tasks
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willingness to learn
Basic phlebotomy and specimen handling knowledge is helpful
Good time management, organization, and attention to detail
Clear verbal communication and compassionate patient interaction
