Roles & Responsibilities

Provide thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
Assist dentists during procedures and chart patient care
Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment
Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

Active Dental Hygienist license in New York state
Current CPR certification (BLS)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
Knowledge of infection control protocols
Experience with digital x-ray systems
Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
