Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist dental hygienists and dentists during patient procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental x-rays as directed
Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions
Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
Update patient records and assist with appointment scheduling

Qualifications

Valid Dental Assisting certification or completion of an accredited program
CPR/BLS certification required
X-ray certification as per state requirements
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and infection control practices

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in dental software and digital charting
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and OSHA guidelines
Understanding of dental terminology and procedures
Ability to multitask and anticipate clinician needs
