Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
Support meal assistance and monitor dietary needs, ensuring dignity and comfort
Document resident care and observations clearly and promptly in the care record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification for Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
Reliable attendance and the ability to work assigned shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital sign measurement and reporting
Infection control practices and safe handling procedures
Accurate documentation and time management
Teamwork, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
