Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, making each day safer and more comfortable
Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support implementation of individualized care plans and document care accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Compassionate caregiver mindset with good communication and teamwork skills
Basic skills in taking vital signs, transferring and positioning residents, and charting care
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain if required by facility

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable with charting and following care plans
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
Attention to detail and dependable time management
