Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 06-15-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week, with rotating on-call schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields for a variety of procedures including orthopedics, total joints, neuro/spine, robotics, urology, GYN, ENT, plastics, and trauma
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
Ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment and instruments
Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Collaborate with the OR team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
Participate in on-call rotation to cover emergency surgeries

Qualifications

Active Colorado Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license through DORA (required)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic surgery, total joints, neuro/spine, and robotics
Proficient in urology, GYN, ENT, and plastics procedures
Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical asepsis
Familiarity with robotic systems such as Exactech, Mako, Stealth, and DaVinci
