Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents while preserving dignity
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and adhere to infection control standards
Document resident care clearly and promptly in the charting system
Collaborate with the care team to create a positive experience for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, measuring intake/output, observing changes
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Good charting and documentation habits
Teamwork mindset and the ability to follow care plans
Compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
