Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Help with safe transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Document care and observations promptly and accurately in patient records
Participate in team huddles and training to continuously improve patient care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification required
Active/eligible to hold CNA certification in Georgia
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled
Reliable, compassionate attitude and strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding, background check, and immunizations

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe patient handling
Infection control and standard precautions
Clear verbal and written communication
Attention to detail and accurate documentation
Teamwork and the ability to follow directions from RNs/LPNs
Time management in a fast-paced clinical setting
