Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and positioning to reduce fall risk and promote comfort
• Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with team members
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to follow care plans, maintain documentation, and work well in a team

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control practices
• Skilled in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Good observational skills to notice changes in resident status
• Ability to document care clearly and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
