Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care as a core ER clinician at satellite sites
• Float confidently between multiple ER locations (Goodyear, Camelback, Mesa, Glendale, Surprise and Laveen)
• Perform patient assessments, interventions and documentation in Cerner with attention to detail
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures such as Foley insertion and central line dressing changes
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients and interpret dysrhythmias accurately
• Participate in SIMs lab and pass required competency testing on Day 1 of orientation
• Collaborate with a small ER team (often one of two RNs on site) to prioritize care and triage effectively
• Support safe patient handling, wound care, lifts and restraints per facility policies

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (able to submit license) — state eligibility expected
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (TNCC required; CPI preferred)
• Comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and floating to satellite ER sites
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (up to 2 attempts) and a pass/fail SIMs lab on Day 1
• Competence in sterile technique, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing change
• Experience with Cerner charting and ER workflows

• BSN not required

• Ventilator management and care of respiratory-compromised patients
• Sterile technique and infection control best practices
• IV skills, lab draws, wound care, and use of lifts/restraints
• Comfort charting in Cerner and working in small-team ER environments
