Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes to local nursing staff promptly
Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety across multiple facilities
Collaborate with the clinical command center team to improve patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and communication during all shifts

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms section (one attempt only)
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Ability to work independently in a virtual hospital setting
Must commit to full assignment without holding another job concurrently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure
Familiarity with GE and Ascom monitoring equipment
Ability to follow strict protocols and no cell phone policy
Comfortable working in a centralized monitoring unit
