Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (weekends only), with 1-2 weeknight calls per week from 3:15 PM - 6:45 AM and weekend calls every 3-4 weeks from Friday 3:15 PM - Monday 6:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during a variety of procedures including general, robotics, ortho, and neuro cases
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout every procedure
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment
Float to other specialties or provide 1:1 patient sitting support as needed to keep the department running smoothly

Qualifications

Current CST or NCCT certification required
BLS certification required
ND UAP registration required
Minimum 1 year of OR experience with proficiency in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics
Willingness to work holidays and participate in rotating call schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Davinci XI robotics and ION robotic systems
Experience with open belly, GYN, endo/GI, total joints, sports medicine, and spinal procedures
Strong sterile technique and attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple surgical specialties
