Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across all service lines including Neuro, ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, and General Surgery
Collaborate with a close-knit team that values safety and exceptional patient outcomes
Support surgeons using advanced technology including DaVinci Robotics in a fast-paced OR environment
Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to ensure seamless patient care
Mentor and educate fellow team members while maintaining the highest standards of surgical nursing practice

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in Neuro and all surgical service lines
Comfortable working in facilities without specialized teams for each service line
Ability to pass a skills-based exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Willingness to work call rotation including one night per week and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Flexibility to adapt to varied daily surgical schedules
Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
