Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on physical therapy across both inpatient and outpatient settings
Treat a diverse caseload including ortho injuries, neuro conditions, wound care, and general debility
Collaborate with PTAs, techs, and nursing staff to coordinate seamless patient care
Precept students or new staff when the opportunity arises
Document treatment sessions and track patient progress with attention to detail
Rotate holiday coverage with the rest of the supportive therapy team

Qualifications

Active Texas PT license and national PT license required
BLS certification
IP/OP experience strongly preferred
Wound care experience is a plus but not required
Open to both new graduates and seasoned clinicians

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort treating fractures, sports injuries, neck pain, and post-amputation care
Ability to manage a mixed caseload of 7 treatment hours per day
Strong communication skills to work effectively with nursing and therapy colleagues
Flexibility to cover holiday rotations when needed
