Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
Monitor and titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips with confidence
Support moms and babies through every stage from admission to discharge
Collaborate with the charge nurse and on-call OB team to keep the unit running smoothly
Float as a helping hand to other units when the census shifts
Jump between assignments with ease whether the floor is quiet or bustling

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong independent skills in L&D, postpartum, routine nursery, and intermediate nursery
Comfortable working with a minimum of two nurses on the unit at all times
Willingness to float and support other departments as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring with central strip reading
Bubble CPAP and basic vent stabilization
AWHONN-aligned patient ratios
Quick adaptation between busy and slow census days
Clear communication as the backup for your fellow RNs
