Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes following established protocols
Collaborate with local RN staff to ensure timely patient care interventions
Accurately document and communicate cardiac rhythm data in real time
Support improved patient outcomes through vigilant surveillance and quick action

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience demonstrating cardiac monitoring skills
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms (one attempt only)
Ability to work 2-3 day shifts for orientation if assigned to nights
Must commit exclusively to this assignment with no other concurrent jobs

Knowledge & Skills

EKG Interpretation and Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
Strong attention to detail in high-volume monitoring environments
Clear communication and protocol adherence under pressure
Comfort with centralized monitoring technology and virtual care settings
