Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies to aid in precise diagnoses
• Conduct adult echocardiography, contrast echo, and stress treadmill exams with expertise
• Capture general ultrasound images across abdomen, OB/GYN, and small parts for comprehensive patient care
• Assist with precepting fellow clinicians to build a stronger team
• Deliver ultrasound-guided procedures like biopsies in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Collaborate across units including ED, ICU, and OB to impact patient outcomes

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in ultrasound technology
• ARDMS or ARDMS RVT certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• CCI or RDCS credentials a plus

Education

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in vascular studies like carotid, lower extremity arterial/venous, and renal artery duplex
• Skilled in echocardiography including adult echo, contrast echo, and treadmill stress tests
• Strong general ultrasound abilities covering abdomen, OB/GYN, fetal, and neonatal imaging
• Familiarity with GE equipment and PACS systems
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, transplant studies, and ultrasound-guided procedures
