Shift Type: 5:45 PM - 6:00 AM, 2 out of 3 weekends, block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs to deliver personalized care
Utilize the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate tailored plans of care
Administer medications safely following the Five Rights for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families with clear, age-appropriate information to empower their health journey
Create safe, comfortable environments that put everyone at ease
Prioritize assignments to ensure every patient receives top-notch attention
Respond swiftly to emergencies, potentially in a charge nurse role leading the team

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Labor and Delivery experience required
BSN, ADN, or Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Education

Bachelors degree (BSN), Associates degree (ADN), or Diploma from an accredited nursing school

Knowledge & Skills

Mastery of the nursing process and patient assessment
Expertise in medication administration
Labor and Delivery proficiency
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Team leadership and staff coaching skills
