Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care setting to craft personalized care plans
Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions that transform lives and restore function
Coordinate rehab efforts across a multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
Communicate progress with patients, families and staff to ensure seamless care
Navigate unit-to-unit assignments treating diverse cases with compassion and skill

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy
BLS certification required
Background in orthopedics, neurology or cardiopulmonary is a fantastic plus

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care procedures and patient lifting equipment like SARA+ and Maximove
Proficiency with Cerner Power Chart documentation
Strong skills in orthopedics, neurology and cardiopulmonary rehab
Comfort working 1:1 ratios in single-patient rooms across the hospital
