Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries independently bringing new life into the world with confidence
• Circulate in C-sections ensuring smooth and safe procedures
• Assist with catching babies and providing seamless newborn transitions
• Titrate essential drips like Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin for optimal patient care
• Care for high-risk moms from 33 weeks and beyond in a bustling Birthing Center
• Function across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum with routine newborn competencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license with 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
• Comfortable with independent deliveries and C-section support
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP; intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring a plus
• Multiple prior travel contracts considered for those with 1 year experience
• Ready to adapt to unit workflows and provide quality care

Education

• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in LDRP with high-risk pregnancies including Preeclampsia and Diabetes
• Proficient in titrating drips and following AWHONN staffing guidelines
• Skilled in newborn resuscitation and transition care
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and Centricity-perinatal EFM system
