Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 36 hours per week, weekends required, holidays potentially required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently assess and evaluate health status of labor and neonate patients using sharp clinical judgment
Collaborate with patients, families, and teams to craft realistic care plans and goals
Deliver direct patient care through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases while promoting breastfeeding
Educate mothers on infant care and wellness to empower confident parenting
Document everything meticulously and communicate clearly with physicians and supervisors
Assist in emergencies across units and maintain a safe, welcoming environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado
BLS and NRP certifications required, ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or neonatal care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient assessment and care planning
Strong patient education and counseling abilities
Proficiency in labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care
Team collaboration and emergency response skills
