Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible based on patient availability)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients using specialized speech therapy programs to restore communication and swallowing functions
Document clinical findings, interventions, and progress to ensure top-notch care
Supervise assistants and collaborate with the clinical team for seamless patient outcomes
Make initial evaluations and contribute to discharge planning for meaningful recoveries
Perform duties aligned with Pathways Home Health & Hospice mission to maximize patient potential

Qualifications

Active Speech Therapist license in California
One year of hands-on Speech Therapist experience
Passionate about helping patients overcome communication challenges

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
CCC-SLP certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech and language pathology techniques
Strong patient evaluation and treatment planning skills
Excellent documentation and communication abilities
Flexibility to adapt to patient schedules
