Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM with call requirements including weekend call from Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM; flexible options for 5x8s or 4x10s

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in high-stakes cardiovascular operating room procedures
Perform all open heart and vascular surgeries including percutaneous techniques
Assist anesthesia during induction for seamless patient care
Safely transport patients from pre-op to PACU or inpatient units
Take on charge responsibilities during after-hours to lead the team
Deliver compassionate care in a Level 1 trauma center making real impact

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred
Open heart experience strongly preferred
Comfortable in hybrid operating suite
Driver's license for radius rule verification

Education

BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing and circulating CVOR cases
Proficient in open heart and vascular procedures
Skilled in patient transport and anesthesia assistance
Familiarity with EPIC charting
Ability to handle on-call and charge duties
