Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, minimum 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6 week schedule period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to cardiovascular surgery and vascular patients post-op
Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond swiftly to changes
Manage chest tubes, epidurals, and cardiac drips with precision
Coordinate tube feedings and advanced IV therapies for optimal recovery
Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced 40-bed unit
Float to support nearby stepdown and med-surg areas as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license ready to hit the ground running
2+ years of nursing experience, especially in stepdown
BLS and ACLS certifications current and valid
Experience handling complex cardiac cases a huge plus

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Stepdown and telemetry monitoring expertise
Proficiency with cardiac gtt management including amiodarone and heparin
Chest tube and epidural management skills
Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Baxter IV pumps
Team player attitude thriving in fast-paced environments
