Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including rotating weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to med/surg patients including Covid cases
Manage 4-6 patients per shift with skill and dedication
Perform essential procedures like IV insertions and catheter maintenance
Administer medications accurately and monitor patient progress
Collaborate seamlessly with the care team for optimal outcomes
Document thoroughly in Meditech EMR to ensure continuity of care
Float to other med/surg units as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in hand
Acute med/surg experience of at least 1 year within the last year
Comfortable caring for 4-6 patients simultaneously
Ready to bring your A-game to a busy 16-bed unit

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in standard nursing skills including central line maintenance
Strong communication with multidisciplinary care teams
Experience with Meditech EMR system
Patient-centered approach that's friendly and team-oriented
