Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in high-stakes cardiovascular operating room procedures like CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular surgeries, and heart transplants
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RNs, CSTs, and surgical staff in a 1:1 patient ratio environment
Maintain precision and safety using state-of-the-art OR equipment and Meditech EMR
Respond swiftly to on-call needs with 45-minute arrival protocol to support urgent cases
Contribute to the HCA culture of excellence in a specialized 5-OR unit

Qualifications

Active RN license required
1+ year of experience in cardiovascular surgery or OR setting
ACLS and BLS certifications
CST certification for scrub role if applicable
CNOR certification preferred for nurses

Education

RN licensure from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures
Proficiency with OR equipment and Meditech EMR
Strong teamwork in fast-paced surgical environments
Quick response capabilities for on-call situations
