Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert diagnostic evaluations and personalized treatment programs to help patients achieve their maximum potential
Design therapeutic exercises and activities to boost strength, range of motion, and fine-motor skills
Consult on adaptive equipment, environmental design, and positioning to enhance patient independence
Maintain precise patient records and conduct meaningful home assessments
Provide sensor-motor integration therapy and visual perceptual-motor remediation for neurological progress
Instruct patients and families in self-care techniques, energy conservation, and safe transfers
Administer prevocational programs to prepare patients for successful return to work or community life

Qualifications

Current valid WA state Occupational Therapist license (or in process of obtaining)
Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy
One year of experience preferred, but new grads warmly welcomed

Education

Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in diagnostic evaluations, treatment programs, therapeutic exercises, and sensor-motor integration
Expertise with adaptive equipment, patient records, and home assessments
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional materials, write reports, and present effectively
Mathematical proficiency with probabilities, statistics, fractions, and proportions
Problem-solving prowess to handle diverse patient needs and instructions
