Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver full-time physical therapy to a diverse population from pediatric to geriatric clients across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
Provide inpatient and outpatient care, home care, and community outreach in a hospital-based outpatient clinic
Travel to villages to extend care to remote Alaskan Native communities
Adhere to Physical Therapy standards, JCAHO, OSHA, and corporate policies while applying age-specific and culturally sensitive care
Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical staff, and the community as a professional representative of physical therapy

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification
Hospital-based experience helpful

Education

Master's degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations
Effective communication with physicians, medical staff, clients, and culturally diverse populations including non-English speakers
Mathematical skills for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions
