Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day/night 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, on-call required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert care to critically ill neuro patients, managing ventilators and intracranial pressure monitoring with precision
Monitor telemetry and respond swiftly to life-saving needs in a high-acuity environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response and lift teams to optimize patient outcomes
Perform bedside procedures like central line placements and EVD management to support recovery journeys
Float to equivalent units as needed, showcasing your versatility and dedication

Qualifications

2+ years of Neuro ICU experience to hit the ground running
Active BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA
Proficiency in Epic charting for seamless documentation
Previous travel experience preferred for this exciting adventure

Education

RN license required, BSN preferred for this specialized role

Knowledge & Skills

IV starts, arterial line management, and ventilator care
Stroke management, post-craniotomy care, and TBI expertise
Dysrhythmia interpretation, vasoactive drips, and procedural sedation
Infection prevention, phlebotomy, and isolation protocols
