Shift Type: Night 3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to oncology, hematology, and sickle cell patients in a fast-paced immediate care setting
Triage urgent and non-urgent conditions with skill and confidence
Manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, central lines, and blood product administration
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and perform 12-lead EKGs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response and pharmacy
Float to ED as needed to support high-acuity care
Build meaningful relationships with patients and staff in a close-knit unit

Qualifications

RN license in hand
BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
2 years of recent ER experience
1 year of travel nursing experience - a must
EPIC charting proficiency
Experience with patient ratios of 1:3-4

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in emergency medications and sickle cell crisis management
Proficient in isolation precautions, PPE, and triage
Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and EKG interpretation
Comfortable with IV starts, phlebotomy, and central line care
Familiarity with Level I/II trauma centers and stroke-certified facilities
