Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch radiologic procedures across multiple modalities for accurate diagnostics
Champion radiation safety and ALARA standards while protecting patients
Perform quality control checks and operate advanced imaging equipment with precision
Educate patients, verify orders, and ensure seamless protocol adherence
Assist with clerical tasks, inventory management, and cross-training fellow team members
Troubleshoot equipment issues and step up for emergencies with flexibility and independence

Qualifications

ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and at least one additional modality like CT
Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred, especially in multiple modalities
Able to pass background check, drug screen, and employee health requirements

Education

At least 16 years of age with legal ability to work in the US
Required ARRT or equivalent registries in two modalities (or eligible within 1 year)
Annual education, training, and certification maintenance

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of imaging protocols in at least two modalities
Radiation safety and ALARA principles
Patient care and education techniques
Equipment operation and QC procedures per manufacturer guidelines
Effective communication and Microsoft Office proficiency
Familiarity with PACS, RIS/HIS electronic records
