Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to home health patients across 11 counties
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for conditions like CVA and aphasia
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
Conduct patient assessments and document progress in a timely manner
Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies

Qualifications

Active Kentucky speech-language pathology license in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in home health
Home health experience mandatory

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders
Strong organizational and time-management skills for a large territory
Ability to work independently and travel between patient homes
Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
