Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
Assist nursing staff with treatments, transfers, and safe patient handling
Communicate clearly with nurses, providers, and families to support coordinated care
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and adhere to infection control protocols
Document care and observations in the patient record with attention to detail

Qualifications

Active CNA certification valid in California
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling routine clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and universal precautions
Basic charting and documentation practices
Team collaboration, time management, and patient advocacy
