Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Level 3 high-risk facility
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Manage high-risk labor and delivery, antepartum, and couplet care patients
Float to mother-baby unit as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum of 2 years recent L&D experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage high-risk obstetric patients
Strong fetal monitoring interpretation skills (Cerner system)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-risk obstetrics and antepartum care
Proficient in vaginal exams, internal monitors, and C-section recovery
Skilled in titrating medications and managing IV drips
Effective team collaboration and floating across units
Fetal monitoring strip interpretation (ACLS and AFM certified)
