Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operations for both the Cath Lab and the ICU, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care
• Manage staffing, case coordination and scheduling for Cath Lab procedures and ICU coverage
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, enhancing competency and culture
• Support pre-procedure, recovery/hold areas and bedside procedure support including moderate sedation
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols for titratable drips and vasoactive medication management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and outcomes
• Maintain compliance with required certifications and support staff training (EPIC charting, telemetry monitoring)
• Serve as a clinical resource on-call and assist with floating needs across departments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, CRRT competency (or strong progress toward these)
• Experience with critical care, telemetry, and IV medication titration
• Fluoroscopy license preferred for technical staff coordination
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and staffing/float coordination
• Ability to be in-state for orientation week; driver’s license must be submitted (60-mile radius requirement)

Education

• Active RN license required
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care and telemetry nursing skills
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record
• Skilled in titration of vasoactive drips and critical care infusions
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips and monitor data
• Experience supporting moderate sedation and bedside procedural workflows
• Leadership skills in team-building, culture enhancement, and staff development
• Familiarity with ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies in ICU settings
