RN - Multi Care Unit (ICU/PCU/MST)

Location: Prescott Valley, AZ

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends (every other weekend, Friday/Saturday for nights, Saturday/Sunday for days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a combined ICU, PCU, and Medical-Surgical unit
Titrate critical drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Monitor telemetry and perform 12-lead EKGs
Collaborate with charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and remote monitor techs
Adapt to varying patient ratios based on acuity (ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6)
Float to adjacent units as needed to maintain competency

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a larger facility)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Experience with vasoactive drips and ventilators preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and telemetry monitoring
Drip titration and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-acuity environment
