Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour NOC shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and postpartum mother-baby couplets
Monitor and titrate intravenous drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other medications
Assist in neonatal resuscitation and stabilize newborns for transport
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient ratios
Float to Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department for patient sitting as needed
Maintain accurate EFM tracings using OB Trace Vue system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (compact license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Ability to pass fit testing for respiratory protection
Comfort working in a rural hospital setting with limited immediate NICU access

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating common antepartum and postpartum medications
Knowledge of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Skill in EFM interpretation and documentation
Competence in neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
Strong teamwork and independent decision-making abilities
Excellent communication with providers and patients
