Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days and nights rotating; weekend every other (Days: Sat/Sun, Nights: Fri/Sat)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns
Independently attend deliveries, assist with C-sections, and circulate in the OR
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
Monitor fetal heart tracings using Centricity-perinatal system
Collaborate with OB hospitalists, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists available 24/7
Provide couplet care in postpartum and assist with newborn transition

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (1 year with multiple travel contracts considered)
LDRP experience essential
Comfortable with independent delivery attendance and C-section circulation
Proficiency with fetal heart monitoring (intermediate/advanced preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing
Skilled in delivery assistance and C-section assistance
Postpartum care and newborn transition
Titration of magnesium, pitocin, and insulin drips
Advanced fetal heart monitoring
Telemetry for post-C-section patients
