Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 4 shifts per week, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients in ICU and PCU, floating between both units
Manage complex patient populations including cardiac post-surgery, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure
Titrate and monitor multiple intravenous drips such as Levophed, amiodarone, heparin, and propofol
Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain patient safety and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Proven experience in critical care nursing
Ability to float between ICU and PCU as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator management and respiratory support
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpreting strips
Skilled in managing cardiac drips and critical care medications
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
